Creating an item in HLO for Pathfinder 1e

I'm brand new to HL and to the online tool and I've had no luck so far finding any tutorials or online help for how to create a magical item that isn't part of any of the materials. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or explain to me how to create something like Bracers of Deflection (similar to bracer of armor but with a deflection bonus rather than armor). Thanks.
