Creating an Encounter Library

I've tried generating an encounter library for Pathfinder using the explanations in this thread, but I only end up with a zero-byte file.

I'm working with the latest version of Hero Lab and the Pathfinder data files, using a Mac running macOS High Sierra. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong, or any gotchas I might be missing?
 
The only thing that comes to mind is that the file locations may be different between Windows and MacOS and one or more of yours isn't pointed to the right place in the export process.
 
Months later, I still haven't gotten this to work. Can anyone help me determine if this is me or a Mac thing? Has anyone ever successfully generated an Encounter Library with the macOS version of Hero Lab?
