Crafting Items in HL

Hey all,
Rather new to the Hero Lab and I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to how to make an item's price reflect being crafted by the character? I know I can just manually divide the price in half, but is there an easier way? (And yes, I know I'm just being lazy. ;))

Option 1) Divide price in two, manually input into the cost before you click "Add".

Option 2) Buy item at full price. Sell item and click the 50% button for value back from sale. Buy item again for free. (This only works for items that do not have a costly material component in their construction.)

That's all I've got.

Yeah, I was using the first one already (I was confused because it lists the value of the item next to the item, which i thought was the "paid-for" price). I figured that one out after a bit. Thanks for the ideas though!
