Corrupt Hero Lab error. Need help troubleshooting

It seems that hero lab is bringing up an error message that says the herolab.pref file is corrupt & won't load. the program also went back to demo mode for the 2nd time. Can someone help me fix this problem?

I would simply download the latest version of HL from the website and re-install it again. Then once installed you can activate your license again which will bring you out of demo mode. You can repeatedly re-activate your license without harm actually as long as it is the same computer and same install of OS.

Seems the quickest method for getting back on line.
