Copying the Wizard Class

I've just started using HL and I am running into a problem when creating a class. Just for practice I wanted to make a variant of the wizard class with just a few changes to saves and skill points. I did a "new(copy)" on the wizard and made my changes, but when I go to use it I do not have the option for spell specialization. Can someone help me with what I may be doing wrong?

The current version of HL doesn't preserve cleric domains or wizard
specializations when you copy those classes, unfortunately. However, I
just spent the last day making some changes, and as a result this will
work in the next version of HL. :)

Sorry for the inconvenience,
