Composite bow and guided amulet

Building a Comp bow with a +4 Str bonus, is 800gp. Once you purchase it, you click on the question mark, it's shows 1200gp. When you build upper level characters for a pbp, and you purchase this item, it registers in your total that you spent the 1200. I see that I have less gold than I should and I'm thinking to myself, "I thought I had more than that". Just an fyi, really.

If you take a Guided Amulet for a Monk, it doesn't register the Wisdom to hit and damage. Does this not work for a Monk?
