Greetings,
Just downloaded the demo last night and the LOTR file and I like it
very much. My compliments on the entire staff, great program and I
love how much Inquest and Scrye gave you guys press. My Magic playing
friends will take that as scripture. Just have a couple of quick
questions for all.

1. Is the MTG files updated for onslaught, I dont play but all my
friends do.

2. Not having a retailer close I saw the option soon to buy licenses
online. What is the status on that. I know you guys are busy just
wondering.

3. How hard is is to make a file, I am thinking about making one for
the old Middle Earth CCG. I have cards still and would use it for
inventory.

Thank you all,
DQuartermane

dquatermane, welcome and use "Locate File" inside of CV to dl more datafiles. Here's some answers to your questions:

1. Yes

2. I think its available now, but check with wolflair guys.

3. Its pretty easy if, IF you can find card lists somewhere that have all thew info ready for importing. Otherwise, you'll hafta enter it all by hand. Also, you want an XML editor to make things easier. There are several free and retail ones available. http:\\www.download.com.com is always a good place to look for free programs.

Until next time true believers!

Or, if you have any programming skill, you can write a program that will output
the data in the correct XML format. XML is "plain text", so it is pretty simple
to do.

I use an Excel spreadsheet for managing the data (since it does all the sorting
as well as search/replace quite well. Then I have a set of macros that output
the contents into XML data files for use in CV.
