Coins and their addition

OK, why is this App set on not having the coins tally up when reaching the ten mark for the lower coin totals? I should not be having 17 silver and 20 something copper.

What is up with this and how do I get it to flip the excess to the higher coinage?

Does your character have a moneychanger hireling to change all the coppers into silver, and silver into gold? Or is your character like many people who end up with a jar of coins they eventually have to take somewhere to get changed?

To do this manually, add a journal entry, or open an existing journal, and set -10 in the silver row, and 1 in the gold row, then press the accept button.

Well, yes, that is a work around, but not a solution. I already figured that one out, and just buying something and selling it for the coin exchange. That I have to do this is frustrating and unnecessary.

It is the way even HLC works... and in real life your coins don't magically exchange themselves for the next highest value. That said, a button on the journal or inventory to consolidate coinage would be a nice addition to the way HL works.

In PFS, it is likely assumed that the character carries letters of credit or other means to represent the gold instead of lugging great big treasure chests of copper coins.

And that's why the "No Coin Weight" setting exists. I always have that set in my Campaign Options so my players can/will use it.
