Class Packs Purchases

a round about question. I got a friend 4 of the character packs and whenever he opens HL he gets a large list of "missing files." Is that par for the Character Pack Course or should he report a bug?

I'm not from Lone Wolf, but my first thought is that the material from the "seven essential rulebooks" needs to be from either the Rulebook Path or the Class Pack Path without any mixing. Does your friend have any of the Rulebook Path packages (including the Pathfinder Core)?

Well question one is the portfolio one made with a thing with more licenses.

If that is the case, does that portfolio have things active from none core rulebook (considered by the packs). If any of this is true then it is understandable that you get missing information.

Don't forget the Class packs is only limited to certain books that you get not ALL things related to that class

"Class Packs include everything from seven essential rulebooks: Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, Advanced Player’s Guide, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Magic, Advanced Class Guide, Occult Adventures, and Ultimate Intrigue (when it releases in spring 2016.) All archetypes for unlocked classes are included, as well as all feats, spells, gear, optional rules, and everything else from those rulebooks – it’s all you need to create characters with your unlocked classes."

We figured out a few of them...Files I'd sent him of my home rules. But there were some after we moved those to another folder.

If he's trying to open files that have sources that he doesn't have he'll get a missing source error. So if say you have a book he doesn't and its enabled on a character that he tries to open he'll get the error. It won't affect anything really unless it's an item needed, but then you'll get more than just a missing source error.
