Possible fault
When trying to add some peasant levies to my roster AB (2.1) added a unit
of 10 and gave me the validation error about minimum unit size of 20 models
plus having to assign a leader.
Regardless of which I tried to do first, the program took it back to the
starting position of the basic 10 without a leader.
Tried this with several different armies with different roster limits with
the same result.
Known problem? Or perhaps players don't like a lot of peasants?

That's very odd indeed. Rob, could you take a look? I'm confused :( Things
appear to be selecting and deselecting with no apparent cause.

I finally got a chance to investigate this, and it looks like everything is
working fine. I'm using the latest V1.3 files, so it's possible that Colen
fixed somthing. :-)

Another possibility is that you're using a Nikutai as the leader package
(or another package with a Leadership 1 rating). If so, then that package
is only available for up to 10 models (Leadership 1). When you exceed 10
models, the option is automatically disabled and deselected, which resets
the unit back to the normal 10 model limit. If you assign a Chui (or any
package with a Leadership of 2+), you can increase the unit size to 20
models without a problem. However, if you increase the size to 21 models
with an LP with Leadership 2, you'll exceed the limit and everything will
reset again back to 10. Granted, this is probably a little bit annoying in
hindsight, but this mechanism was put into place and THEN various rulings
were made to Daimyo Edition that resulted in the higher than normal unit
size minimums. At that point, the annoyance became an issue, but its a bit
of work to change this, and it just hasn't been dealt with yet.

Hope this helps
Rob
