Character support in 13.11

Hi,
Just purchased and did the "rule book entry", added Advanced Class Guid, A. Players Guide.

My problem is, I saw the Character entry packs and they seem to support alternate classes (shaman, witch, etc) but I can't figure out how to create one using my license. The site seem to say they would become add on packs, but they're not there.

So, do I have to start all over and buy the character entry? Or is it in the packs I have and I'm just missing it?

First, make sure you've reactivated your license after purchasing ACG/APG. Second, make sure you have turned on the source for those books in the Configure hero window (new packages are not set to default on for characters made previously).

First, after making the purchases, did you reactivate your license through the License menu? That lets your copy of Hero Lab talk to the licensing server and find out about the purchases.

Second, if you're starting with a character you originally created before purchasing those books, from the Character menu, choose Configure Hero, and then on the right hand side, make sure all the books you want to use are turned on.

Before you do that I recommend taking a look at this FAQ about licenses. Really handy for a quick read if you plan to put HL on more than one computer/laptop/iPad.
