Chaos Dreadnought Attacks

The AB Chaos Dreadnought is listed as 2/3 attacks, but if I'm not
mistaken, Codex:CSM lists the base attacks is 3. So shouldn't the
entry be 3/4 (base 3, plus one if charging)? BTW, this is for
a "stock" Dread with CCW and Autocannon, no upgrades or gifts.

A Chaos Dreadnought has three attacks with the Dreadnought CCW. If
destroyed (or replaced with a missile launcher) this will reduce
them to two attacks. Hence the 2/3 designation in the stat line.

Does it state so in codex as normally dreadnought does NOT lose
attack if he loses weapon as usually you don't gain second attack
from single weapon(and rulebook says dreadnought close combat is
power fist without penalty, no word about extra attack).
