changing common language

does anyone know how to change common to another language in d20 3.5
I'm new to the editor and cant figure this out.

also, the languages i've entered cant be chosen for a beginning character they all show red when selected

From what I've seen, what languages a race can learn is handled by the race itself. That is why new languages show up red when selected. Short of modifying all the race files, I'm not sure what you can do to fix that.

As for changing common...I assume you mean change it as a default? I don't think so. If you want something else to be the default then you could do a replace thingid with something else, but that could be problematic later.

There might be a way to make a language usable to all, but honestly I haven't looked into it so I'm not sure.
