Changeling questions/issues

When selecting the kith Razorhand, you're supposed to get the Knife specialization under Weaponry for free. Or are the kith bonuses not calculated in?

Is there any way for the system to recognize Merits like Fighting Finesse, so that it uses Dexterity for combat instead of Strength?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the answer to your first question - Rob is the changeling expert, and he's taking a well-deserved vacation right now, so he'll take a look at this when he gets back.

For your second question, Fighting Finesse works with one specific weapon - for example you choose "Fighting Finesse" for a Greatsword or a Rapier. This doesn't effect your overall "Close Combat" roll, but the correct bonus should be calculated into the roll on the "Armory (Equipped)" section of the "Combat" tab.

All the kith bonuses ARE applied. Except, of course, when I forget to include the free specialization for the kith. :-(

I'll get this fixed in the next update of the data files. If you want to patch it in the meantime, you can do so by bootstrapping the specialization and assigning it the Control.Free tag.

Ah. Okay, I'll take a look at that. Thanks.

...was that English? ;) Sorry, I haven't figured out how to customize anything yet. I'll be glad to wait for an update. Thanks!
