Change Entity/Option Show Setting

I have a setup where I have a required unit that you must pick some options on.

Some of this information is secret to the opponent, so I want to give an option on the unit to exclude it from roster output (but only if that option is selected).

I can't seem to find a way to manipulate the show for either the links or the unit (either would get me what I want).

Is there a way to do this? If not, what are the alternatives?

This might help. When creating the options in army builder there is a section in options that asks wether you want to show the option or not. This should allow you to have it on the screen but could set the output as not show.
Not in army builder right now but will look at it after work and see if I can get the coding for you.
