Can't use the product

I just bought the Realm, Works GM software, I got it downloaded, and logged in with my account. Once logged in to the launcher, i'm unsure how to add the GM license code to my account. On the FAQ I see that once you enter any realm you can view and edit account information, but when I go to the realms tab, I have no option to enter or create a realm, and thus can't follow the suggestion listed on the FAQ.

Attached is what I see on realms tab, no option to create a realm. In the video guides, it seems like there is some ability to create.

There should be an ability to create, but from your description I'm not sure what you're seeing.

Do you have a player license on the account you're using to log in to Realm Works? Whether an account has the extra GM functionality is (currently) set when you create the account and isn't something you can change. If this is the case you would need to either make a new RW account or see if LWD can help you.

(I don't know if folks who don't use RW but are in the HLO beta would be affected.)

Yeah when you say logged in with your account and trying to add the GM license are you saying that you have a Player License first and trying to upgrade?

If so that's not currently possible to my knowledge. You would need to create a new account.

Also Realm Works only allows one account per Windows account. It's an annoying restriction.

I think the update is possible if you clean RW completely from your hard disk, so also in all user folders. Uninstall is not enough.

You can allow Realm Works to be used on the same computer by a new account but you cannot upgrade the original account if it was indeed a user account.

Ok thanks everyone for the info! I've gathered from your replies that my account with a player's licence won't works, so i've uninstalled, and created a second email address to register the GM licence. That said, when I try to register the second email address after the fresh install, I get a 'Down for Maintenance' error, so I guess its a moot point for now.
