Cannot update WFB8 to 2.44

When my army builder software is launched I'm notified that there is a new version for WFB8 (2.44). I need a little help.

Here I launch army builder and am notified of the 2.44 upgrade

I select the update and import it here. Notice though that the version at the top shows 2.43.

And then Army Builder tells me 2.44 is still avail:

I have also tried deleting the WFB8 from Army Builder and then downloading the latest offering and it seems to stay version 2.43.
 
I believe Ultra updated it to 2.44 but for some reason the program still sees it as 2.43.

I know this because 2.43 still had a bug that Ultra and I discussed in a different forum and he went back in and fixed it and updated to 2.44 a few hours later. Had the same problem myself but after having checked for the bug I verified I had downloaded 2.44 (because the bug was gone) even though AB told me the update was still available.

To check if you do indeed have 2.44 (until Ultra can rectify this issue) create a new army at 2500 points and select four of the same special unit. If you get a validation error you have 2.44. If you do not then you do not have 2.44.

Thank you Yobtar. I am in fact using 2.44 as four specials @ 2500 pts throws a red flag.

Greetings.

Just registered to let you know I'm experiencing the exact same issue. Also tried deleting existing WHFB8 files, no luck though.
