Building a sorcerer bloodline

ShadowChemosh, if you have a copy, why don't you figure out who made that and suggest to the author that they give it to us - then we can incoprorate it into the program.

(Of course we leave for Gen Con in 10 days, so we're not going to be able to make any progress on integrating it until probably a week or two after the convention, when we've gotten caught up on everything else that had to be put on the back burner during convention prep).

I'll see you at GenCon Maybe!

...But I digress. I was checking this out to see if I could ad a custom bloodline to my .user files. Is there a way to add a bloodline to the editor? I did not see a tab that screamed "Put bloodline here."

Thanks for your help Mathias. Cruising on my Giantborn Bloodline.
My next question - the giants in my world, while closely matching the regular pathfinder Giants have a few differences...but I want to have the character choose his bloodline like the draconic bloodline does.

I saw a tag that said "ChooseSorc1" and All hero picks...but I can't find where the dragon types are listed to allow the character to choose his giant background.

Edit: Ok and looking at the Eval Scripts from Sorcerer I see this might be even more difficult than I thought :)

I'm sorry to say that the option to add more things like that has not been added to the editor at this time.

As long as you don't need an elemental affinity, it's a simple matter of presenting the names in the "Array-Based Menu" option in the editor - the sorcerer script is needed only to determine the energy of the draconic bloodline's breath weapon and resistance/immunity.

If you do need that, you're going to need a script to turn that selection into an element.

I'm trying to think if there's a way to accomplish this without making a replacement of Sorcerer that has special handling for this bloodline.

Of course as a workaround that will look very odd but function correctly, you can use the dragon bloodline's selections and pretend that instead of "White Dragon (cold)" it says "Frost Giant (cold)".

When you're studying the draconic bloodline, look very carefully at the bootstraps where it adds the various elemental things - especially the Cond. button on those bootstraps.

If you were referring to my suggestion of borrowing the draconic bloodline's selections, I just had an idea for how that would look less bad - use the selections from the elemental bloodline, rather than the draconic bloodline - then, your users can see that they're selecting the element associated with that type of giant.

Alternative #2: create 4 versions of this bloodline, one for each energy type. On each one, use an "Array-Based Menu" to let the user choose the type of giant (assuming you have more than one cold-based giant and more than one fire-based giant - no array needed if you only have one for that element). Since you already know the energy type, you only need to let the user select the text of the race's name.

Oh wow. Alternative #2 sounds great. I'll tinker with that one tout de suite.
