Bug with Paladin on pegasus (Bretonnia)

A pegasus knight has heavy armor and shield. Pegasus gives +1 forr being cavalry, but nothing for barding.

Thus, knights of the realm has armor save 2+
hvy armor, hvy armor, shield, mounted, barding = 6,5,4,3,2+ for save

Pegaus
hvy armor, hvy armor, shield, mounte = 6,5,4,3+ for save.

But when I put a paladin on a pegasus with heavy armor and an ENCHANTED shield... he still only has a 3+ armor save. This must be a bug.

First of all, am I correct? Second of all, is there anyone out there who edits data files with ease to fix it? :)
 
For some reason the Royal Pegasus don't give the +1 to armor save for being mounted.

The time between updates on the fantasy file ... is slow at best ;)
 
the pegasus has 3 wounds - it is not a mount like a horse, it is a monster. so there is no +1 armor save bonus for being mounted, afaik.
