Hello, im not sure how to start this so ill just jump right into it.
The Jin ability of the Sha'ir Occultist Archetype, from what ive been reading on the Forums, and from Mark Seifter himself, is that it should not say "This REPLACES Implements", but rather it should say it "ALTERS" implements, because you only get 3 Jin instead of however many implements a regular Occultist got. The Sha'ir still gains the Base Focus Power and Resonant Power of the non-elemental school he chooses and can still spend focus to use those powers, and he still gains more at 3rd level and every 2 levels. (Im at work right now and can't remember if I was able to do this when I leveled him)
For example if he takes Transmutation, he invests the focus in the Jin yes, but he still gains the Physical Enhancement resonant power and the Legacy Weapon focus power. In Herolab these are greyed out and say (Replaced), (though you can still select the enhancement bonus and it still applies when you invest the focus). as the Focus powers part is different from the Implements these should not be greyed out.
Also he only gains these benefits when his Jin is within 30ft, so you should also have something like a Wizards Familiar distance indicator, that removes the bonus applied if this is unchecked.
