Bug in AB itself?

Rob,

On a couple of occasions now I have saved a file and shortly thereafter
tried to reload it only to be given an error message and the file fails
to load. This has only happened with the 40k files. I have not upgraded
the datafiles or anything so that isn't the cause of the problem. In
addition on one set of files although I save it as Grotfang's Waaagh (I
like to be imaginative!) it loads as Grotfang's Waaagh] The extra ]
keeps coming back even though I delete it and re-save it. I've virus
checked my machine so I don't think that it's a strange virus

Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

Yep. This is a bug in AB. It occurs when you use characters like the
single- or double-quote in your unit/roster names and/or notes. I hope to
have this fixed shortly.
