The Brawler archetype Shield Champion has a lot of moving parts so I like to often double check HeroLab. I have come up with a weird issue that I cannot explain so I want to see if there is a rule that I am missing or is HeroLab adding incorrectly.
For simple purposes lets say we have a 5th level Shield Champion with an 18 strength and an 18 dexterity. He has a heavy steel shield that has a +1 enhancement bonus on the offensive side.
Melee Attack: +10 (BAB +5, Str +4, Weapon +1)
Damage: 1d6+5
Ranged Atack: +10 (BAB +5, Dex +4, Weapon +1)
Damage: 1d6+5
However, no matter what I do HeroLab shows ranged attack as just the masterwork property of the shield and damage as 1d6+4 in this situation. It is always less than the attack and melee damage by the amount of the enhancement bonus to the shield's offensive ability.
Is there a rule as to why this should not apply in this situation?
I even gave it the throwing ability and it did not add it correctly.
Also, HeroLab for iPad is still not allowing the AC bonuses for a Shield Champion using a shield at 4th, 9th, 13th, and 18th. I am guessing that the ACG errata has just not made it to iPad because it is correct in PC HeroLab.
Thanks!
