Bootstrap or gizmo?

Something I was thinking about....

Can you attach a thing to another thing? Specifically I would like to attach a Resource thing to my Magic component to easily allow for counting selections, etc.

I thought bootstrap at first, but if I'm right the bootstrap attaches to the hero, not the thing doing the bootstrap. :(

Would a better way be to do it as a gizmo maybe?

Thoughts?

I need more information about the game rule you're trying to implement before I can say what the best strategy is.

Each Magic has a set of Lesser and Greater abilities associated with it. When the Feat/Advantage/Talent is taken to allow magic use, it allows for the selection of 2 lesser and 1 Greater ability each time.

While at the moment in the system it's only possible for the hero to have 1 form of magic, and therefore one set of Lesser/Greater abilities, it's not impossible that in the future a hero could select multiple magic forms, therefor having a different total of Lesser/Greater abilities for each Magic they have.

Does that make sense?
