Blood Bowl

J,

We have someone who has volunteered to create the files for Blood Bowl, but
I do not have a release date at this time. Check the downloads page on
www.wolflair.com, and also in the forums on our support page
http://support.wolflair.com , for updated information.

Which leads us on nicely to.... where do people post their data file questions if there isn't a forum setup for the datafiles? The General AB forum specifically says its not for datafile problems... and this one should be for website/forum problems...

So I think we should have an "Other Datafiles" forum or something....

Russell.

As described in the forums rules:

"If there's no specific forum for the data files you need to ask about, please contact the author directly - you can find their contact information under the Help menu ("Contact Data File Author") within Army Builder and Card Vault. Please don't post questions about data files in the Army Builder and Card Vault forums."

:)

The problem with having an 'other data files' forum is that it would be misleading - what if the data file author never read the forum? Then you'd have a lot of people posting for no good reason.

ok, fair call... but what if there is no data file author at the other end of the email address?
(shrug) I guess people will post into the AB forum if they get no luck anywhere else - regardless of what the rules of the forum say :)

Threads like "The author for <game X> hasn't responded to any
questions for the last 4 months, does anyone know his status?" or
"There are no data files for <game X>, is anyone planning to work on
them?" are always welcome in the main forums, since there isn't
really anywhere else for them to go (I just updated the forum rules
to clarify them a bit for the latter case). They should really be the
last resort, though - since there will almost always be a better
place to send the questions to.
