I noticed that the Blood Bowl Army list is up for grabs as far as whatever
sucker is willing to update it. I just got done with an eighteen player
league, and it looks like another league is starting up. I'd very much like
to get the AB files up to date with the current rules.

PS: I am working on the AB for Linux FAQ, but I've yet to get a reliable
procedure documented for getting it to work. It's very hit-or-miss right now,
and anything people do randomly bashing around on their own is likely to
yeild better results than following what instructions I've written so far.

Have you contacted the current author (who I believe is jasonite@aol.com)
to ask him if he'd object?

Excellent; please let us know what you find out. :)

Are you volunteering, or asking someone to do so?

I didn't notice that. I must have misread the list of contributors on the
LoneWolf website. Though there hasn't been an update to the files in over two
years. There's a number of significant changes to the rules in the new
edition.

Not much! Other than that it seems to work more or less randomly from one
distribution to the next. Sadly, it's never worked for me under Mandrake, but
users of Red Hat and Slack claim that it works right off the bat with no
changes to the config files.

I am volunteering, but it appears that there is someone in charge of the files
at the moment. There just hasn't been an update in a very long time.

If you would like to do so, let's get it switched over to you. I had
been working on, then putting off, the update for the past two years,
but every time I came close to finishing, another rulebook came out
that changed the rules again...
...and I'm not playing BBowl right now, so it wasn't a priority.

I'd rather see the files taken care of by someone who cares for
them... so it sounds like you're the guy for the job! :)

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
Jason
