the feat beast leadership from the new paths compendium allows you to choose a magical beast for your animal companion. this feat is not implemneted in hero lab.

How would you add the list of magical beasts to the animal companion list?

Create each magical beast as an animal companion in the editor. One magical beast at a time. A "magical best" or animal is not the same Thing as a "Animal Companion" just like a Feat is not the same thing as a Trait.

So the only answer is to create each Magical Beast with the "correct" Animal Companion rules inside the editor.
