Bears for Rangers Animal Companion

So in my world, rangers can have Bears as Animal companions like the Hunter and Druid can. Is there a way to add them to a list of animal companions for the ranger? When adding it says not available even though it shows it. Adding a bear gives a red ! mark. Any way to fix this so bears work right in the program?

Thanks

Ignore the error and add that animal companion race. Then, go to the Adjustments tab, add "Animal Companion, Allowed Class" to the Permanent Adjustments table, and choose "Ranger" as the class it's allowed for.

If you don't mind it showing up in the list of supressed errors, you can click on the three vertical dots on the error message about the race not being allowed (once you've added it to your character), and choose to suppress the validation error.

I've just double-checked - In PF1 on HLO, I opened the permanent adjustments table on the adjust tab on the animal companion character, and I see "Animal Companion, Allowed Class" among the adjustments available to add.

Ok, you had posted in the PF1 on HLO section of the forum, not the PF1 on HLC classic section of the forum, so I answered for HLO.

For HLC, add the user-created add-on called the community files: http://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?t=51966 which will add this adjustment. In HLO, we got permission to incororate many of the community files' adjustments into the main program.
