Bard Showing Arcane Spell Failure with Light Armor

MinimumMax

New member
Please let me know if I am overlooking something, but Hero Lab shows a 10% arcane spell failure when a Bard wears leather armor, which is light armor. This is a full Bard, not a multiclass, so I do not know why this is happening.
Pathfinder Core Rulebook page 35, 2nd paragraph, 3rd sentence:
"A bard can cast bard spells while wearing light armor and use a shield without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance."
Have I neglected to check a box, or should this be reported as a bug?
Thanks.

The page just shows the arcane spell failure to everyone even divine casters on the armor page. It is just a reminder of the actual stats it is something you will always have to apply manually.

But for example you could be handing your armor piece to someone else who does get arcane spell failure it is helpful to be able to inform that person of the actual information of that armor piece.

However if you look at the bard page itself it should be showing an arcane spell failure of 0% on the left. This seems to be working as it should be on my end.

Thanks, Togainu.
I am playing with a person who refuses to use anything other than pencil and paper, so I export a PDF of their character sheet for them. The 10% failure shows up on that, not the actual program sheet — I neglected to mention that. Anyhow, I will use this to nudge them into this century and the digital age.
