Auto Linking, Ignore All Instances refinement

Im in a situation where where the topic "Half-Elf" is talking about Elf, Elves, Elven and Half-Elf, Half-Elves and Half-Elf's is becoming a problem for Auto Linking.

With the topic being called "Half-Elf", expressions of Half-Elf, Half-Elves, Half-Elf's is to be ignored for Automatic Linking on this topic. While presserving the right of Elf, Elves, Elven being linked.

At first, I tried setting up a "Ignore" link in the "Elf" topic. This failed, so I tried using Ignore All Instances. This fails too.

My suggestion then is to allow a customised way (that isn't permenatly saved), to Ignore All Instances when {this string is found}.

I don't quite see what you are asking for. Do you want to limit the links from the half-elf topic to others are you trying to limit the number of hits the parser finds due to half-elf containing elf, and variations?

With Automation turned off, in the Half-Elf topic:-
Ignore "Half-Elf" but find "Elf"
Ignore "Half-Elven" but find "Elven" if its talking about the Language only
Ignore "Half-Elves" but find "Elves"
Ignore "Half-Elf's" but find "Elf's"

Where all words listed are actual words causing links.

Which will require user interaction.

Turning on auto accept is almost always a bad idea. I continue to not understand why people do so.

Currently I have it enabled. At the moment it requires little assistance.
Maybe the problems grow when the realms grow :D
