Is there a centralized place to obtain and share Hero Lab user created files and new game systems? Do you need to own (purchased) the Authoring Kit to use user created files made with the Authoring Kit?

I want to know because I'm thinking of trying to create the Iron Kingdoms MkII game system in Hero Lab. I know there are or were other users working on this very same game system. I don't mind buying the Authoring Kit and doing it myself (or trying to do it myself), but if someone else has done it and is willing to share their work with others it would be greatly appreciated and save tons of work.

I've been reading the Wiki for the Authoring Kit and it seems a bit daunting, but I'm sure I could figure it out it would just take quite a bit of time and tedious work. I don't mind it, just if it's done and shareable it would be greatly appreaciated.
 
You do not need to own the authoring kit to use user created files.

There are a few centralized places for user files, if you would like to send them on to myself or Shadow, we will post them for other folks.
 
If you do not own the authoring kit, you will only be able to use any game system created with the authoring kit in demo mode, meaning you will not be able to save or print. Owning the authoring kit package allows you to use those systems in their entirety.

I know there's at least one thread where someone started an IK RPG file, but I don't think they got very far.
 
Thanks for the replies. From the sounds of it I need to purchase the Authoring Kit and try my luck at creating the IK MkII in Hero Lab.

Just another quick question before I undertake that project. Does Lone Wolf have any plans to add Iron Kingdoms to Hero Lab? If Lone Wolf isn't planning on it, why not? Does it have to do with Privateer Press not wanting it or has there just been no move to try to come to an agreement with Privateer Press?
