attaching character sheets to People

So I'm fiddling with using Realm Works and I'd like to attach PDF character sheets for NPCs to their People entries. How would I do that?

And if I were to use RW with Pathfinder (or any other Hero Lab system), how would I attach the HL file to Realm Works?

Could you not load one using smart image? (Like a map)
Or do you want it in a different format?

There are snippet types specifically for HeroLab portfolios and for external files (I am not sure offhand if PDF has its own specific Snippet type; I don't think so). The HeroLab Snippets offer extra functionality while the "external file" is, I think, just to store and launch the external file.

Once you add the appropriate type of Snippet to the entry, you should be able to browse the file system to select and load the file.

The plan is to support internal viewing of PDFs in the near future. We also want to do some more very cool stuff with integrating PDFs, but that's something to talk about a bit down the line.

I got to play with the new build last night, and the ability to import HL files from Realm Works into a running copy of Hero Lab was great.
