Seeing curious behavior.

I have 3 licenses on my account. I'm using one my girlfriend is using another. (note: They are the same account) I can see the Artificial Intelligence race and she cannot. Anybody have any ideas? We've checked the settings. I've sent her the .por file I used for a test, and it's giving orphaned data warnings on load for her.

Any thoughts?

Artificial Intelligence? Are you referring to the Android from the core book? If so, yes, I might know exactly what is happening. If that is the race that you mean, I have a counter question. Do you have Fantasy Companion checked? Because, if so, it will hide the Android race from you.

This was the first "mod" that I made in Hero Lab. I made a copy of the Android and got rid of its Containereq. After doing that it will appear even when the Fantasy Companion is made to be available,
 
Thanks Seeley, unfortunately that didn't make any difference for me. I'm actually seeing a race called Artificial Intelligence. It has the same sorts of attributes as the Android race.

Where did you get it? I do not recognize that race. It seems that it is from downloaded user file, and if that is the case you would need to download it separately onto every computer that is to have it. Only the official sources are automatically available to your licenses.
 
Although even with official files you'd still need to download the ones you want on all of the computers. It does sound to me like you've got some source on your computer that is not on hers. I don't remember a setting with AI as a race, but maybe if I get a chance later to review what I have on my system I can figure it out if you don't work it out before then.
 
Weird, I have all the data files from the community and that race doen't show up. I can't seem to find it at all.
 
Double-checking all of the data files I have I only have the phrase "Artificial Intelligence" showing up on a Vehicle on a personal data file we use for oneof our GMs settings in our own gaming group that I haven't shared anywhere. So I'm not sure where your seeing anything for AI on a Race, either. It has to be a data file you've got on your own system and it's definitely not listed on any of the official ones.
