Armor proficiency

I'm very new to Hero Lab and have been tooling around with it, but I can't figure out how to add a new shield I've created to the armor proficiency under class.
It works, if I add the armor type of the shield to light shields, but I want this shield to be its own proficiency.

update:
Figured it out finally, I had to add the armor proficiency thing tag manually to the file and point it to my newly created shield, including the tag that I had created for it under armor proficiency in the class.
