Armor check penalty? not encumbrance

Hi I was wondering if there is a bug with the armor check penalty applying to skills, I dropped everything to the ground and am carrying a light load but it still gives me minuses to skills and says it is because of my current armor check penalty. I have no armor and have dropped bracers to the ground as well.
 
I would suggest that you post this in the bug report forum noted in the sticky and attach your portfolio file.
 
Without seeing your portfolio it is hard to say what might be causing this. So if you could attach it so we can look at it we might be able to help more. (I can't say I have ever ran into this issue myself before.)
 
Coins weighs a lot--1 pound per 50. Did you drop that to the ground as well? It is under Gear. Adds up quickly.
