Archetypes in Hero Lab for Pathfinder RPG

New member
I'm trying to look at a few different character types in Hero Lab and am having a damnable time finding out which archetypes are in which books. Finally thought I had it figured out and blew 12.99 on a worthless (to me) book.

For instance, this Adventurer's Guide description:

"A wealth of new player options, including feats, spells, magic items, prestige classes, archetypes, and new abilities and powers for a wide range of classes."

Can you be more vague? WHICH archetypes?!

I can't even find a single god damn archetype for a paladin!! What am I missing? Where are the bloodrager archetypes?!

There has to be a way this could be listed better.

Please take a deep breath. HL is a good tool, but you should still have access to the source materials that HL uses. I just took a look there are ~50 different archetypes for the Paladin. A quick list is:

• Weapon Master's Handbook - Tempered Champion (archetype)

Keep in mind that the HL packages correspond with Paizo's published works.

Your bloodrager list is smaller:
• Advanced Class Guide - Blood Conduit (archetype); Bloodrager (class); Bloodrider (archetype); Crossblooded (archetype); Greenrager (archetype); Metamagic Rager (archetype); Primalist (archetype); Rageshaper (archetype); Spelleater (archetype); Steelblood (archetype); Untouchable Rager (archetype)
• Arcane Anthology - Enlightened Bloodrager (archetype)
• Blood of the Beast - Prowler at World's End (archetype)
• Heroes of the Streets - Urban Bloodrager (archetype)
• Melee Tactics Toolbox - Bloody-Knuckled Rowdy (archetype)
• Monster Summoner's Handbook - Ancestral Harbinger (archetype)
• Occult Origins - Id Rager (archetype)

I'm also pretty sure that it you contact Lone Wolf within 30 days you can get the unneeded book taken off your license for a refund.

A site like Archives of Nethys or d20pfsrd would probably tell you where a given archetype originated.

I usually go with getting everything for Hero Lab, and using HL to determine where anything is found.

go to d20pfsrd.com, and find the archetype there. At the bottom of the page, it will list what source it was from.
