Apocalypse Masters of the Chapter Issue

Hey...the Apocalypse: Masters of the Chapter do not have the ability to select a common Bolter as their primary weapon, nor can they take the Storm Shield they are supposed to be able to.

That needs to be repaired. :)

I am not sure how you are attempting this, But the options for teh Storm Shield and Bolter are all there and do work. Can you confirm the version of the datafiles you are using. Also make sure you are clicking on the actual unit for each Master and not the Group name.
 
I'm using v1.29 of the Warhammer 40k files; the ones that came out on the update system back in February. Whenever I click on the unit name, I get the options for the unit and a common Bolter is not on the list of 0-1 basic weapons, nor is a Storm Shield in the list of possible add-ons.

Just in case I was using an older version of the license I updated, and it still does not show these options.

Ideas?

Ah ha! I figured out WHY you didn't see them missing...

...I'm using the Blood Angels subset. The Masters running with Dante have these options removed, even though the regular Space Marine subset does not. THAT is where the options do not appear! Can we get a quick fix on that? :)

Hello there.
I'm sorry to inform you that there isn't anything wrong with the Blood Angel's Masters of the Chapter. And here is why.

From the datasheet:
(Each of these Masters uses the rules for a Space Marine Commander or equivalent)

For the Commander Equivalent, Codex:Space Marine is a Captain, and Codex: Blood Angels is a Company Captain.
NOTE: The rules are different for the C:BA Company Captians than that of a C:SM Captains.
