APG Bug - Gnome - Master tinker

Building my gnome oracle, and it doesn't look like the bolded part of the Master Tinker alternate racial trait below is working:

"Master Tinker: Gnomes experiment with all manner of mechanical devices. Gnomes with this racial trait gain a +1 bonus on Disable Device and Knowledge (engineering) checks. They are treated as proficient with any weapon they have personally crafted. This racial trait replaces the defensive training and hatred racial traits."

Or maybe it does work, but I haven't found a place to indicate that a weapon I add to my inventory has been crafted by my character.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That can't be coded, as least not elegantly.

For that you should probably use the adjustment "Weapon Proficiency" and put the source "I crafted it" in the adjustment so you know.
 
If you read the description text of that ability in HL, there's a note added to it that will tell you what risner told you.
 
Does anyone know where this is located exactly in Hero Lab version 4.2? The layout I am assuming has changed as I cannot locate any option to add a custom weapon proficiency to a class as mentioned in this thread to resolve this known issue.
