Anachronistic Adventurers and Progress Levels

Xorial

Well-known member
Anybody out there familiar with Super Genius Games Anachronistic Adventurers will know they have implemented the old d20 Modern Progress Levels in a fashion that makes them a form of proficiency. You character starts by being proficient in a certain PL, which determines which weapons are Simple, Martial, and/or Exotic. The point to all of this is, does anybody here have any idea on how to implement this into Hero Lab?

Is this similar to the way Firearms are treated as being a different proficiency based on how common guns are in Pathfinder? I don't know how you'd do something similar to that without messing about with the core files, at least, not without a lot of replacement IDs and weapons being greyed out for non-proficiency when buying them, and then suddenly being proficient while added. In short, it'd be doable, but not pretty.

Anyone have a more optomistic assessment for poor Xorial?

That is about the answer I expect. It may very well be beyond the scope of what is needed. I hope somebody has some "workable" ideas. :p
