Alternate Racial Trait

Hellow,

I'm having a slight issue building my first character.

Basically, I bought the Core pathfinder + UM + UC + Heroes of the wild as to have all the source material I needed to complete my character.

But for some reason, I am not able to switch a racial trait. I am creating a Half-Elf Kensai (Magus archetype), who would like to have :

Fey Thoughts: Select two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Disguise, Escape Artist, Fly, Knowledge (nature), Perception, Perform, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Swim, or Use Magic Device. The selected skills are always class skills for the character. This trait replaces multitalented. Source: HotW

I tried to find it in the configure your hero page but nothing of note.

Basically, my question is do I need to do/buy something in order to be able to switch racial traits ?

Sorry for the new user question but i'm a bit overwhelmed.

Sincerely,
Soreyar

Make sure you have activated Heroes of the Wild for your character. Open your character up and press "CTRL-K" and scroll down to make sure that you have a check mark next to "Heroes of the Wild".

This can happen as each Character saves which books are allowed/not allowed for itself.

If you "can't" active the book then go to "License->Reactive License" to make sure HL knows about your recent book purchases.

Let us know if that helps or not...

Thread necromancy: I have a Wizard with this alternate racial trait; how do we remove the weapon familiarity proficiency bonuses? They're getting the full benefit they normally would with the default trait as if they were still proficient with longswords, rapiers, etc.
