Alternate Forms

Is there a way to show alternate forms, such as a druid's wild shape, a lycanthrope's were-form, or a form from the Polymorph spell? I can create a second hero with the modified stats, but any things shared by both forms have to be duplicated manually. I wonder if an Adjustment thnig would do the trick, or would that be too complicated?

Lycanthropes have the adjustment you're looking for, on the In-play tab. I think polymorph would need a separate adjustment for each and every form you could change into.

Try this - does changing the race of the current hero to whatever they're polymorphed into work well enough? Then change the race back when they turn back.

The Lycanthrope adjustment seems like a pretty good fit for wild shape, with a few tweaks. When changing the base race of the druid, HL wants to add the animal hit dice on top of his class level. It also changes all the ability adjustments, instead of substituting physical ability scores completely and leaving mental ability scores intact. Equipment effects shouldn't carry over, unless it has the wilding property, and there's a whole list of what other qualities do or don't change.

Ideally, the adjustment thing should be connected to the Wild shape druid class special thing, with a one-at-a-time check box for each animal in the SRD with hit dice =< druid class level, with higher hit dice & differently sized creatures coming available at higher druid levels (maybe attach those new adjustments to the appropriate class level itself?). Same goes for elemental & plant creature forms.

I think I had better tinker with some easier things before trying to tackle this one.
