altering the Data File

Hi everybody,
my question is how can I alter the data file to include my own house rules. Possible? how?

You'll need to see the post from Rob about getting the AB creator (bear in mind the point about documentation) to make the changes.

Please see the 40K FAQ about the maintainers position on in-house rules within the main datafiles, also each time there is an update to the files you will have to recode in the changes you made.

It maybe worth using a version of the files for yourself in a different folder in the data directory, that would avoid the probs mentioned above but then you have to recreate the pacthes and updates across to your own files anyway.
