I am setting a race for ally purpose( not visible). I have written in the race/ ally this script :

roster.A & groupB.tagC

as I want this race to be shown to the user in a roster A, only if the unit with the tag "groupB.tagC" is selected.

It doesn't work as expected. Any ideas of what I have done wrong?

When you add the tags for allies it seems to be back to front on first sight:

Race A
Race B

When you want Race A to be shown as an ally of Race B you put the visibility tags on Race A

The tag group it refers to is usually a global tag or a ruleset

Without more info on what it is exactly you are trying to achieve then it's hard to give more help sorry
