Allies in Apoc, issues adding allied HQs

Hi there, I'm making a Chaos Space Marine Apoc list and I wanted to add a Dark Apostle by simply using the rules for the 5th ed. Space Marine Chaplain. However, when I select "Trusted, Distrusted, and Hated Allies" from the allies list, there's no SM HQ units available to use, only certain other units. Looking in the Apoc rulebook I didn't see any limit placed on how many or what type of allied units can be taken. Is there some setting or option I'm missing in AB that will allow me to take a chaplain as an allied unit, or will I need to mess around with the datafile to do so? Thank you in advance.
