After the latest Pathfinder Update, Bad Pathcore.pkg file

I can not get it to work at all! I am desperate at this point to get it working as I NEED Hero Labs tomorrow!!! (Friday Night).
(Update, just double checked and here is exactly what is going on, It says: Error reading C:../Pathfinder/pathcore.pkg Then I click ok and another window pops up and says the same thing and then it goes back to the load screen with all the different game systems on it.)

But the title of this thread is wrong! Sorry

I have tried uninstalling it - Did not uninstall the files because I did not want to delete my custom files or any that I have downloaded as I would hate to have to go through downloading each file I have done so far over the past two years of having this software.

Thanks for the help... PLEASE!! :)

You might have gotten a glitched download of the last update. Hopefully it's just a matter of re-downloading the update and re-running it.

That is the problem, I have redownloaded the latest update and it did not get corrected from that.

Any other suggestions?

Someone PLEASE help?!?!?!?!?!!

Try deleting the *.pkg files first before running the installation program maybe the actual file is locked in a corrupt state.

Otherwise downgrade to the prior version that worked before this update.

You could also try removing the *.user files only, from the program folder into a backup place, then deleting the core folders and then reinstalling HL from a freshly downloaded HL file to see if it is a corrupt installer problem.

I had to move all the .user files to another folder temporarily and then uninstall all the files and reinstall them all and it FINALLY worked.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking about something along those lines but had a absent minded professor moment I guess. Thanks!!
I appreciate it!

Here's a funny thing. Prior to suggesting those steps i updated the core HL package with the D20 Modern update.

Before this D20 update my HL install worked fine with the 6.12 Version files.

Now though my Bestiary3.pkg file is corrupt?!?

Curiouser and Curiouser!!!!

Edit****
Reinstalled the HL update and no longer get the corrupt Bestiary3.pkg error!

Yea the Bestiary3.pkg was the original file that was corrupt on my computer when I got the first error and then I removed it from the directory and then the pathcore.pkg went corrupt. But now it is fixed for me at least! :)
