Advanced Weapon Training feat options for Warpriest Molthuni Arsenal Chaplain missing

Fizzle

New member
When inputting a 5th level Warpriest with the Molthuni Arsenal Chaplain archetype I can see that I get the appropriate Weapon Focus added from the class for level 1. I choose Musket for the Weapon Focus and then for my bonus feat I choose Advanced Weapon Training. This causes the Advanced Weapon Training tab to appear, however when I try and choose any option from the list of weapon trainings, the dropdowns to select an applicable weapon group are all empty.

Warrior Spirit for example.

I can see the Fighter Weapon Training being applied to my weapon as expected, but for purposes of the Advanced Weapon Training feat, it seems that the musket weapon is not being considered a valid option.

Occasionally error like this fire when adding and removing the weapon training selecting under Advanced Weapon Training:

Does anyone know of a way to somehow add the weapon grouping? I have familiarity with adjusting bootstraps and things, however this seems to be more of a finicky issue that I am unsure how to bypass. Or if it is a bug how I would go about reporting it correctly?

Thanks!

I'd give up on the prospect.

To wit, LWD isn't going to be updating the native client anymore and as someone currently playing a MAC I've yet to find a work-around. The most reasonable method I can imagine to make it apply is if you made an entire copy of the MAC archetype in the Editor from scratch by painstakingly copying/pasting each field, bootstrap, tag, etc. to recreate it 1:1 then either making a new custom version of Sacred Weapon that permits selecting a weapon group (as per RAW) or lazily stapling the already extant Weapon Training and Advanced Weapon Training abilities to the copycat MAC archetype.

I'm not sure why it shipped so many years ago without the ability to select groups, but I'm sure it had something to do with the very regular confusion towards the fact with the PFS ruling on the archetype that proscribes group selection. RAW, it just gives you Fighter's Weapon Training (which has you select groups) and then further clarifies that the bonuses only apply to weapons [in the group] you have Weapon Focus with.
