Additional Licences

I'm interested in acquiring (an) additional licence(s) for multiple employee(s). Even if those employee(s) are half the world away and will be using the software on their home computer, I'd like the licence to remain the "property of the company." Could you please provide more information or a solution regarding multiple licences, etc?

Thanks in advance

Every license number is unique and tied to a specific email address.
If you purchase what we term "secondary licenses", all secondary
licenses are associated with the same email address as the primary
license.

Since our products are targeted at consumers instead of businesses, we
don't have anything specially setup for your needs. However, I'll
outline how you could utilize our licensing mechanism to achieve what
I think is a reasonable solution.

If you purchased a license for an employee named John, you could
assign that license an email address associated with your company
(e.g. john@company.com). If John left the company, he could
theoretically change the email address associated with the license to
his personal email address. However, you could contact us and have it
changed to a different email address of your choice (e.g.
paul@company.com).

We use the name associated with the license as the final arbiter of
who "controls" the license. So, if you want the ability to retract the
license from one employee and assign it to another, the important
detail would be for *you* to purchase the license for each employee in
*your* name. That way, if John left the company tried to argue with us
that the license was actually his, we'd see that the name on the
account is actually yours and would honor your wishes regarding how
the license assignment is handled.

It's not a perfect solution, such as would be possible with most
business software, but it's workable. And it's significantly better
than simply having a standalone license number that, once issued, is
pretty much impossible to withdraw from an employee.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions about how
this would work.
