Adding weapon abilities - Where is the +1?

This is probably a stupid question but I can't find an answer to this anywhere.

If I have a +1 weapon, I add the ability Furious to it. Does it then become a +2 weapon or is it still a +1 but with the furious ability?

To add to this, if I also have Keen and Bane as well as furious is this now a +4?

I've added these abilities in Hero labs but the base level doesn't change so I guess i want to know if I'm supposed to change that myself?
