Adding Racial Hit Dice on the Personal Tab

If you add racial Hit dice on the personal tab is there any differences compared to loading them on the classes tab?
 
How are you adding them on the Personal tab? I've never seen that before. Unless you mean the "Racial Hit Dice" adjustment, which is primarily intended to decrease HD of monsters, since you can add additional ones on the Class tab.


The adjustment changes the number set on the race itself, meaning the extra hp for the additional HD need to be set there. The class tab picks add new picks, each for 1 HD, and each with their own HP box.
