Adding Paladin Ability to a Fighter

Mr_H

New member
My DM has said that my character , a Fighter, can have the Paladin Detect Evil ability.

I have been poking around Hero Lab to see if there was a way to add this ability, without having to get into scripting or anything complex. So far, I haven't had any luck finding something.

What would be the best way to handle this? Any suggestions?

Thanks
H

You can create a custom weapon and just call it Detect Evil. Don't select a weapon type, just type in the name. That will print it out with the weapons. You can adjust where it shows up in the order of weapons so that it's on top. You may have to use Shadow's adjustments if you haven't already done so.

You can also just pick a scroll, wand, tattoo, etc with just Detect Evil on it so that it shows up. Make sure you Buy For Free.

You can also just take Spell Mastery (you won't qualify for it and you will want to give yourself an extra feat from the Adjustments tab) and just write it in. This is probably the easiest way.
