Adding Greater Flaming Sphere To Fire Elementalist Spell List

Is there an easy way to add an existing spell to a spell list?

Flaming Sphere is on the Fire Elementalist list of spells. Greater Flaming Sphere (in the advanced class guide) is not. I would like to add it to the list so I can prep it in a specialist spell slot.

How do I do this?
 
Greater flaming sphere isn't in the Fire elementalist spell list. It is just on the normal spell list. I just checked the ACG and it doesn't seem any of the school spell lists have been altered so the only spells you can use in those slots are the spells listed here (As officially created in the Advanced Player Guide).

If you mean to add it to the list as a house rule. I am afraid I won't be the one that is able to help you there (not able to copy greater flaming sphere because of part of supplement message). But someone else might be able to.

Normally in the editor under the magic->spell tab I would have copied "flaming sphere, greater" and edited the school(s) (and the unique ID) list to include "fire elemental" after which you could go to the tags and adjusted the newly added "sSchool" tag with the type "Fire" and give it the name "Fire Elemental".

I guess you could make an entire new spell and make a one on one copy of it tho. Or copy the normal flaming sphere and adjust it to be the same as greater flaming sphere

Pretty much this. I would do a "New Copy" against the spell and then a "New Blank" and copy each setting from the Flaming Sphere, Greater to your new spell. Give it a new unique ID and set it to be available only to the "Fire Elemental" school.

Save and do a "Test Now" and you should be good to go.
